Terms and conditions

1. Purpose

Tarmako sends email alerts reporting unusually low flight prices, collected from data providers. Tarmako sells no tickets and plays no part in the relationship between the subscriber and the carrier or the agency.

2. What the service guarantees, and what it does not

The prices communicated are prices observed at the time of the check, whose day and time each alert states. They may have changed or may no longer be available when you read the alert. Tarmako guarantees neither the availability of a fare, nor a number of alerts, nor that you will pay less by any given amount.

3. Plans and prices

When you sign up, you get a seven-day trial during which you receive every alert from the city you chose. No means of payment is requested and the trial never turns into a paid subscription by itself.

At the end of the trial, the Discovery plan, at no cost, gives access to two alerts a week for that city. The Premium plan, at €4.99 a month billed annually (€59.88 a year), gives access to every alert for that city as soon as it is sent, up to one a day (two if the second is one of your dream destinations or an exceptional fare: at least 70% below the usual price, 50% for a long-haul flight). Prices include all taxes. Payment is processed by Stripe; Tarmako neither receives nor keeps your bank details.

Referral

Each alert contains a personal link. When someone signs up with this link and confirms their email address, they get a fourteen-day trial instead of seven, and the member who invited them receives thirty days of Tarmako Premium, up to twelve times. This benefit is not added to a paid Premium subscription already in progress, has no cash value and may be withdrawn in case of abuse (addresses created for the occasion, for example).

4. Right of withdrawal

You have fourteen days from the subscription to withdraw, without giving a reason and at no cost, by writing to contact@tarmako.com. The reimbursement is made within fourteen days of receipt of your request, using the same means of payment.

If you expressly ask for the service to begin during this period, you remain liable for the amount corresponding to the period already provided if you withdraw.

5. Renewal and cancellation

The Premium subscription renews automatically every year, at the same price for as long as you stay subscribed without interruption. A reminder is sent to you by email before each renewal date. You can cancel at any time, online, from the “Manage my subscription” link in every alert; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid, at no cost, and you then move to the Discovery plan.

6. Partner links

The alerts contain search links to partners. A booking made after following these links gives rise to a commission paid to Tarmako, at no extra cost to you. This does not influence the selection of alerts: a price is reported because it is low, never because it earns more.

7. Liability

Tarmako uses reasonable means to report accurate and recent prices. Tarmako cannot be held liable for a price that has become unavailable, an error by a provider, or the consequences of a booking made with a third party. The mandatory provisions protecting consumers remain applicable.

8. Complaints and disputes

Any complaint: contact@tarmako.com. Failing agreement, you may refer the matter to the Consumer Mediation Service (Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8, 1000 Brussels) or to the European online dispute resolution platform. Belgian law applies.
